Wood Mountain Stampede

120 years running and still going strong.

July 9, 10 & 11, 2010

The Stampede is held annually on the weekend that includes the second Sunday in July.

Not even the Calgary Stampede beats us for longest running continuous rodeo!


If you want some exciting rodeo action, the Wood Mountain Stampede is the place to be. Come sit under the brush covered grand stand and watch the CCA approved rodeo.Rider

Friday July 9

Wood Mountain Wagon Train arrives

11 am   Little Britches Rodeo

4 pm    CCA Slack                                                     

9 pm    Cabaret with Badland Country Band (Live Music with Gina Stewart and her band. Visit their website www.badlandcountryband.com )

Saturday July 10

9 am     Team Roping Jackpot  

12 pm Wood Mountain Horse Sale Competition

3 pm    Wood Mountain Horse Sale

6 pm    CCA Rodeo Rough n Tough Trick Riders during intermission

9 pm    Cabaret with Badland Country Band

Sunday July 11

11 am   Christian Cowboy Church Service

2 pm    CCA Rodeo Rough n Tough Trick Riders during intermission

Booth and Beer Garden
The Rodeo grounds are located just south of Wood Mountain SK at our Regional Park.  Confections booth, beer gardens, and electrified camp grounds are all available.  Regional Park entry fees apply, but the park entry sticker is good at all Saskatchewan Regional Parks for the calendar year.

The rodeo is on the Second weekend every July, so be sure to catch it.RCMP Musical Ride
